The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has officially opened registrations for SRMJEEE 2026, the university-level entrance examination conducted for admission to B.Tech programmes across its campuses in India. Students aspiring to pursue engineering courses at SRM University can now complete the online application process through the official admission portal.

SRMJEEE, short for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination, is one of the most popular private engineering entrance exams in the country. Every year, thousands of candidates apply for admission to engineering branches such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering and more.

The entrance examination is conducted for admissions to SRM campuses including Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Delhi-NCR, Andhra Pradesh and Sikkim. Candidates can apply online and appear for the examination from home through the remote-proctored online mode.

Eligibility Criteria for SRMJEEE 2026

Before filling out the application form, candidates must ensure they meet the required eligibility conditions prescribed by SRMIST.

Applicants must have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, while Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Informatics Practices can be chosen as the third subject.

Candidates must also satisfy the minimum aggregate marks requirement specified by the university. Eligibility conditions may vary slightly depending on the chosen course and campus.

International students, NRIs and Indian students are all eligible to apply under their respective admission categories.

SRMJEEE 2026 will be conducted in an online remote-proctored format, meaning candidates can take the examination from their homes using a desktop or laptop with a stable internet connection and webcam.

Students can complete the registration process online by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Candidates need to open the official SRMJEEE admission portal:https://applications.srmist.edu.in/btech

Step 2: Register Yourself

Click on the registration option and enter basic details such as:

  • Full name

  • Mobile number

  • Email ID

  • Password

  • State and city

After submitting the details, candidates will receive a verification email or OTP.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form

After successful registration, login credentials will be generated. Candidates must log in and complete the application form by entering:

  • Personal information

  • Academic details

  • Preferred course

  • Preferred campus

Students are advised to carefully verify all information before submission.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents:

  • Passport-size photograph

  • Signature

  • Class 10 marksheet

  • Class 12 marksheet (if available)

Step 5: Pay Application Fee

The application fee for SRMJEEE 2026 can be paid online using:

  • Debit card

  • Credit card

  • Net banking

  • UPI

The fee for each exam phase is expected to be around ₹1400.

Step 6: Submit and Download Confirmation

After completing the payment, candidates should submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.


Admit Card and Slot Booking

Candidates who successfully register for the examination will be required to book their preferred exam slot before the test date. Once the slot booking process is completed, the admit card will be available for download from the official portal.

The admit card will contain details such as:

Counselling and Admission Process

After the declaration of results, SRMIST will conduct an online counselling process based on the candidate’s All India Rank obtained in SRMJEEE 2026.
